
Maxim Skulachev graduated with a Master’s degree in Biology from Moscow State University in 1995 and made his PhD in Molecular Biology in 1999. His previous position was the Director of the Institute of Mitoengineering at Moscow State University. Currently, he is the Chief Scientific Officer at Mitotech (UK) and Mitolab (Israel). Over the past several years, Maxim has been leading a major project focused on the development of mitochondrially targeted pharmaceuticals designed to prolong longevity and combat age-related diseases.
