Dr. Nati Bloom, CEO of Emda, Association for Patients with Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. 

With over 20 years of experience in geriatrics and elderly care, Dr. Bloom holds a PhD from the Sacramento Professional School of Psychology and both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work. Her extensive professional background spans leadership roles, team management, and strategic planning. Since 2019, she has managed EMADA’s professional and financial operations, including fundraising, budget oversight, and collaboration with external entities. Dr. Bloom leads major projects, such as managing support groups for families of individuals living with dementia and spearheading the international “Dementia Friends” initiative in Israel, aimed at raising public awareness. She is actively involved in training employees and providing professional guidance while maintaining strong partnerships with public, municipal, and private sector stakeholders. Dr. Bloom’s deep commitment to improving the quality of life for those affected by dementia is evident in her hands-on involvement in training professionals, lecturing at global conferences, and adapting international initiatives for implementation in Israel. She is widely respected for her ability to foster collaboration, navigate complex systems, and lead with a visionary approach. Through her work, Dr. Bloom has established strong relationships across the public, municipal, and private sectors, advancing critical initiatives that address the growing challenges faced by individuals living with dementia and their families.
